Our 30+ years of expertise are utilized for the sizing and selection of; Collection Hoods, Ductwork, Air Pollution Control Devices and appropriate fan selections to induce the proper system air the flow and pressure at your elevation. Dry Baghouse or Cartridge Collector Systems are supported, as well as Wet Scrubbers for chemical vapors. Electrostatic Precipitators are supported for oil mists, and Weld Fume control.
For systems handling combustible dusts, we can assist with your Dust Hazard Analysis ( DHA per NFPA 652 ). We can provide new or retrofit explosion venting and explosion suppression systems. We provide the required duct system and fan selection design documentation to assure that combustible / explosive dusts are inhibited from accumulating in the duct system.
For new systems, we can: suggest the proper equipment, design collection points, design the duct system for proper velocities and calculate the resulting system pressure drop. We can assure that fan selections appropriately consider you elevation and temperatures extremes.
For existing systems, we can review the system design and equipment condition, in order to suggest system enhancements and equipment retrofits. Onsite inspection and analytical services available, with MSHA training current for entry into all mine types.
